Amanda is a contemporary dancer and choreographer based in Brooklyn, NY since 2012. 

She graduated with a BFA in Dance Performance and Choreography from the California Institute of the Arts in 2012. 

Amanda began dancing at the age of 7 in her home town of Champaign, IL where she immersed herself in jazz, tap, ballet, hip-hop, acro, and musical theater. She was introduced to classical modern dance and contemporary forms in middle school and continued her studies at the North Carolin School of the Arts summer program and at the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana during her high school years. She went on to study dance and choreography at the California Institute of the Arts in 2008 under the direction of Stephen Kaplowitz. While at CalArts she studied modern, contemporary, improvisation, ballet, pointe, partnering, and jazz under influential teaching artists such as Colin Connor (Limon Company), Andre Tyson (Alvin Ailey), Stephanie Nugent (Nugent Dance), Daniel Charon (Doug Varone/Ririe-Woodbury), Glenn Eddy (NDT), Laurence Blake (Joffrey), Cynthia Young (Ballet West). 

Since graduating Amanda has had the pleasure of working with Mersiha Mesihovic/Circuit Debris, Leslie Scott's BODYART, and independent choreographers such as Toussaint Jeanlouis, Jay Carlon, Victoria Sendra, Adam Wile, and Lindsey Lollie.
